Introduction

The Owner/History:

The owner, Michael Girgis, had a behavior problem at school. He ended up going to an alternative school. Five years and a sessions of summer school later, he finally graduated high school. He began working for a towing company. After having his first daughter in 1998, he became motivated to be successful for her. Since college was not for him, he worked with the skills he had and decided to open a towing company of his own. In 2002 he drove out to Las Vegas with a friend to buy his first truck and drove it back to New Jersey. Originally, he was hoping to gain enough profit to buy his next truck in 6 months. He became so successful that in under three weeks he was able to buy his next truck. Now, almost 20 years later, he is one of the biggest towing companies in the state earning many awards for his success. His wife, Amanda, implemented the technology he now uses. Before her, everything was done simply through paper, word of mouth, and phone calls. They now have a very advanced system in place that has increased their profits greatly.

Purpose:

The motivation behind this blog is to separate a current data framework used by Superior Towing. This breakdown will work as a stage, permitting our group to recognize different qualities and shortcomings of said data framework and how they sway the organization's system. In a later tab, our group will give suggestions. Every suggestion will address a part of the previously mentioned data framework and how it very well may be improved so that Best Buy may augment their procedure.
