Superior Towing receives calls in three different ways: Cash Calls, Calls from 911 or through a contract with AAA. From there, dispatchers send calls to drivers tablets, depending on the drivers proximity to the call. They provide assistance to those who need it 24/7.
ZoHo
We analyzed the software the company used called “ZoHo”.Zoho CRM empowers B2B organizations to keep steady over their business tasks. It causes them to make a typical stage to keep their accomplices, merchants, and different partners of their business in a state of harmony with one another.
Information System Components
An information system is composed of five components: Hardware, Software, Data, Procedures, and People. These components ultimately exist to aid employees to carry out the business strategy Superior Towing has put into place.
Hardware:
They use a Dell Hp monitor for dispatching and Samsung tablets for the driver that all implement the ZoHo software. Along with a two way phone for the drivers to easily communicate with the dispatchers and members, in case their personal phone signal is down.
Software:
Superior uses a software specifically designed to dispatch roadside assistance calls. AAA provides all of its contractors with a software that assigns them calls in the service territory. The dispatcher then assigns the service call to a driver based on location.
The software that they use for invoicing is called ZoHo. Zoho is an internet based system that is also compatible with quickbooks that does bookkeeping for the company.
They have another program that they use for dual purposes.
Data:
They have another program that they use for dual purposes. Dispatching and Vehicle storage called Towbook. They have some contactors that dispatch work through this program. This program also is in app form.
Procedure:
Like most types of technology, staying up to date on new software and programs allows the user to maximize on the product or service they are receiving. Superior Towing must ensure that their technology stays up to date. ZoHo is very essential to Super Towing’s day to day business. ZoHo’s software allows Superior Towing to efficiently communicate with both drivers and customers regardless of their location and time of day.
People:
The ZOHO database is used by the Superior Towing managers to manage accounts of contact information. They use it to keep up to date with business arrangements, installments, and reports.
